STEAM Study Tour to Hangzhou and Shanghai

The school organized a “STEAM Study Tour to Hangzhou and Shanghai” from July 19 to 23, 2026, taking 24 students to understand the rapid technological development of China and providing them with a valuable learning opportunity. During the tour, students visited the Hangzhou Low Carbon Science and Technology Museum, Xiaoshan Robot Town, Alibaba Headquarters, and the Shanghai Science and Technology Museum. Through these visits, students gained first-hand knowledge of artificial intelligence, robotics, low-carbon technology, and digital innovation. At Alibaba Headquarters, students also attended an AI lesson on object recognition technology, which enabled them to experience how artificial intelligence is applied in real-world scenarios and modern industries. Students also explored cultural landmarks such as West Lake, The Bund, and Yu Garden, which helped them appreciate the integration of technological advancement with cultural heritage. The tour broadened students' horizons, strengthened their understanding of emerging technologies, and deepened their appreciation of China's remarkable achievements in innovation and technological development.

 

本校於2026年7月19-23日舉辦了名為「STEAM 杭州及上海遊學團」，帶領24位同學深入了解國家迅速發展的科技成就，為學生提供了寶貴的學習機會。行程期間，學生參觀了杭州低碳科技館、蕭山機器人小鎮、阿里巴巴總部，以及上海科技館，親身認識人工智能、機械人技術、低碳科技及數碼創新等範疇。在阿里巴巴總部，學生更參與了一節由專家親自教授有關人工智能物件辨識技術的課堂，了解人工智能如何在現代社會及各行各業中實際應用。此外，學生亦遊覽了西湖、外灘及豫園等著名景點，體會科技發展與文化傳承之間的融合。是次遊學團不僅擴闊了學生的視野，更加深了他們對新興科技的認識，以及對國家在創新科技發展方面卓越成就的了解。
