Application for Secondary One Places (2009-2010)

As the number of available Secondary One Places in 2009-2010 is limited, our school will ONLY consider applications from students whose academic school results rank them in the top ten percent in Primary 6.  Principals’ recommendations are also considered. Parents are strongly advised to consider the English standard of their children before submitting the application because English is used as the Medium of Instruction in our school.

Application Date & Time:

          7^th July, 2009 (Tuesday)

          8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

Application Procedure:

Applicants should submit the following documents to the school before 12:30 p.m. on 7^th July 2009:

(1)   Application letter (Please include contact telephone number)

(2)   Photocopy of Hong Kong Identity Card

(3)   One recent photo

(4)   Photocopies of Primary 6 school reports or other official documents indicating applicant’s academic results rank him/her in the top 10 per cent in the Primary 6 form.

(5)   Photocopies of Primary 5 and 6 school reports and the results of external awards

(6)   Photocopy of “Secondary One Allocation Form”

(7)   Photocopy of “Secondary One Choice of School Form”

No written test will be required. Qualified applicants will be invited to attend the preliminary interview.  Applicants who are successful in the preliminary interview will proceed to the final interview upon notification by the school.  Final interviews will be conducted from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on the same day.

Applications will be considered according to applicants’ academic results, conduct, extra-curricular activities and their performance in the interview.  The school will notify the successful applicants of the Secondary One Places by telephone.  It is not necessary to make enquiries about the application.
