Hilary: Good Morning Principal, teachers and fellow schoolmates. I am Hilary Woo from 2A.
Janice: I am Janice Chan from 2C.
Hilary: Today, we are going to introduce two books to all of you. Janice, you have read a book. What is it about?
Janice: Oh, it is a book about chocolate. Do you like chocolate?
Hilary: Yes, of course I do.
Janice: Then, I think you definitely like to read this book. This book is called “Chocolate”. It introduces everything about chocolate, like the history and types of chocolate. It also includes some recipes for chocolate desserts. I like chocolate layer cakes, chocolate scones, chocolate pancakes and chocolate pudding etc. They drive me crazy! As you know, I am a “chocoholic”. I must try to make them. Will you help me?
Hilary: Oh I will if I have time. Anyway, let me read this book first.
Janice: OK. Would you please tell me something about the book that you have read?
Hilary: Sure. The title of my book is “The Great Light, Lean and Low Fat Cookbook”. This is an excellent cookbook. Nowadays, people love eating fast food but it contains lots of fat.
Janice: So, what can you find in this book?
Hilary: In this book, there are over 200 healthy-cooking recipes, like fruity bread pudding and carrot cake. After reading this book, I know that we can make desserts in a healthy way. Besides recipes, I can also find beautiful pictures of the dishes too. It is not only a cookbook, but also a guidebook. It includes tips and secrets that help us eat healthily as the nutrition facts are given.
Janice: It sounds to be a very special cookbook.
Hilary: Yes. Do you know which part of an animal’s body has the greatest amount of cholesterol?
Janice: Well, I…don’t know. Can you tell me the answer?
Hilary: Of course…not! If you want to know the answer, you can borrow the book from the school library and check it out yourself.
Janice: Ok.
Janice and Hilary: This is the end of our sharing. Thank you!
